Refund Policy

In general, refunds will only be given as follows:

  • Team Deposit.  The team’s $200.00 deposit will only be refunded if there is insufficient space in the League for the team.
  • Free Agent (FA) Registration Fee.  The FA registration fee will only be refunded if (a) there is insufficient space in the League for the FA, or (b) the FA cannot be placed by the League on a team.

Except as indicated above, and with limited exceptions, the League has a strict no refund policy.  A refund will be issued by the League if and only if there is insufficient space in the League for (1) a team who registered and properly submitted a deposit, or (2) a Free Agent player who has registered and properly paid his/her registration fee.

  • Refunds (or credits) will not be issued for reasons including, but not limited to, the following:
    • Change in work schedule;
    • Injuries (resulting from play in the League or otherwise);
    • Player intends to register as part of a team and registers as a Free Agent (regardless of whether that player was on that team in a prior season);
    • Roster errors;
    • Relocation; and
    • The “referee fee” portion of the League fee*.

Because the League recognizes that injuries do occur and conflicts do arise, roster changes are permitted in accordance with League rules.  See Roster Policy (Roster Modifications).

*Note:  While the League fee is split into two separate payments (see Team Invoices, Payments, and Pricing), this is for League administrative purposes only.  No portion of “Amount #2” will be refunded or applied as a credit to any future game as a result of a forfeit or for any other reason.  Any reference to the number of guaranteed games offered by the League refers to the number of guaranteed number of scheduled games, notwithstanding games that are not able to be played due to weather or the like.  The League is not responsible for teams that Forfeit; however, the League allows non-roster players for those first eight (8) scheduled games (unless the 8th game is a playoff game) in an attempt to prevent forfeits.  In the case of a forfeit, both teams that were scheduled to play will still have access to use the field for a scrimmage, but that scrimmage will not necessarily be officiated as it is not a League game.
