The current year’s standings are on the Areena app. Any adjustments needed to the standings on the app are indicated below, are tracked separately, and will be fixed prior to the start of the playoffs. The current year’s top scorers will be updated below until the app can split out goals by division and gender.
The standings are currently messed up in Areena, but we are working to get that fixed asap. Thanks for your patience. Items impacting standings (to be addressed, if any, through the week listed in the standings):
- Serie A (through week 8):
- Darwin’s Angels and Quad City FC – Week 7’s game against Quad City FC was reduced from a 4-2 victory for Darwin’s Angels over Quad City FC to a 2-2 draw since two (2) of the goals scored by Darwin’s Angels were scored in violation of the Prohibited Player Policy (top scorer).
- LTP FC – was sanctioned for a violation of the League’s Roster and Sportsmanship Policies for conduct unbecoming of the League. As such, the team has incurred a three (3) point reduction in the current season standings.
- Serie B (through Week 7):
- Beercelona FC – should be #6 in the standings with 8 points (as indicated in the App; however, both Chupacabras FC and Sporks FC have 9 points (see below).
- Chupacabras FC – should be #4 in the standings with 9 points (2W-2L-3D); the Areena app has the results of all the games in the App, but isn’t counting one of the games in the standings (a win, so 3 points are missing from the totals); they take the #4 spot by virtue of their head-to-head win over Sporks FC.
- Sporks FC – should be #5 in the standings with 9 points (2W-1L-3D); the Areena app has the results of all of the games in the App, but isn’t counting one of the games in the standings (the loss, so it doesn’t impact the standings); they take the #5 spot by virtue of their head-to-head loss to Sporks FC.
- Serie C:
- None at this time.
