Teams with BYEs and teams needing to wear pinnies will be updated below once the season schedule (posted roughly 1 week before the season) has been determined. See additional notes, below (^).
Divisions and regular season schedule notes
- Serie A – 6 teams. Each team will have seven regular season games followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket seeded based on the results of those games; there will be no BYE scheduled.
- Serie B – 7 teams. Each team will have six regular season games and a BYE, followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket (2 playoff games or 1 playoff game + a consolation game).
- Serie C – 9 teams. (Something NEW!) To ensure that all teams make the playoffs and get their eight games scheduled within the 11-weeks Spring schedule, the regular season will run for only eight weeks. Eight of the teams will have one BYE, and one team will not. Following the regular season, there will be a single-elimination playoff bracket seeded based on the results of the regular season.
- Note: Since the team with no regular season BYE can earn up to 24 points (versus 21 for other teams), any points earned by that team in their 8th game will not count toward the standings for that team.
- Note: Serie C teams should be especially mindful of the Prohibited Player Policy, specifically as it relates to “certain other players”.
- Other Important Schedule Notes:
- Sunday, March 8 – Daylight Savings Time
- Sunday, April 5 – No games (Easter Sunday)
- Sunday, May 10 – Mother’s Day (Serie C only)
- Sunday, May 24 – No games (Memorial Day Weekend)

The Summer session will (tentatively) start on June 14. Registration for Summer is expected to open around mid-to-late April.
Important note: the tentative dates and times for the various playoff games are provided at the start of the season to give players as much notice as possible so that they may plan accordingly given that teams are limited to their rosters for playoffs. Each season, teams are impacted by conflicts (e.g., work, vacation, travel, etc.), injuries, and unexpected things that prevent roster players from being able to play in playoff games. These instances do not warrant exceptions** to be made to the Roster Policy. Teams are expected to plan accordingly when putting together their roster, and teams must do the best they can with their final roster come playoff time.
^Dates, times and/or venues may change slightly depending on number of teams and field availability. In the case of inclement weather or any other conflict preventing play, the regular season and/or playoffs may be contracted, including the number of teams that make the playoffs, but all teams will be scheduled for the eight (8) guaranteed games.
**In light of this being a recreational league, several exceptions have been incorporated into the rules. These exceptions are intended as “safeguards” to ensure that no team is unreasonably burdened by circumstances; they are not meant as a measure of convenience or expediency for any given team. For instance, teams are limited to their rosters for playoffs, but may be permitted to use a NR goalie for playoffs (since a team is not expected to roster more than one goalie). However, exceptions granted by the League are not all-encompassing; the League must (1) grant the exception and (2) approve any replacement pursuant to that exception.
